On a daily basis, warehouse floors are subjected to strong mechanical stresses, as well as to heavy impacts due to the movements of vehicles.
Therefore, great care and know-how are required since inadequate flooring compromises the safety of the warehouse and increases its costs.
When old floors show a large number of depressions, breakages and surface abrasions, we can solve the problem by laying new resin floorings.
Modern handling systems use vehicles with rigid wheels. This increases the wear of the flooring, where weak points, such as expansion and construction joints, compromise its functionality.
We can restore the efficiency of the pavement, drastically reducing the maintenance of the carts or trucks, with the following joint recovery systems:
Resin Joist System
FloorBridge System
Metal Joint System
FLOORING FOR NARROW AISLE WAREHOUSES (VNA)
In narrow aisle warehouses (VNA), flooring is an essential requirement: perfectly flat surfaces and a high precision to guarantee compliance with the tolerances required by vehicle manufacturers, such as DIN 15185 standards or VDMA guidelines.
FLOORING ACCORDING TO DIN 15185
With the patented EPOXIBETON epoxy resin floor system, which is based on flatness control, SIREC is able to make the flooring perfectly flat, in compliance with DIN 15185 standards. In addition, it fully satisfies the following requirements:
- Ground Resistance (RE), according to EN 1081 (ex DIN 51953) - not more than 106 Ohm
- Braking Distance, complying with the 15160-part 1 standard
- Friction Coefficient, (approximately μ 0,5)
VDMA FLOORING
The VDMA guidelines, in terms of flatness control, are even more restrictive than the DIN 15185 standards.
Hence the collaboration in 2012 with Alphaplan Group, the Belgian company for which Sirec is the
exclusive agent for the Italian market (Aphaplan Italia).
The strict tolerances required for the optimal use of this type of forklift are easily achieved with
Alphaplan's FloorShaver, a special, modern technology that automatically smoothes the lanes, obtaining the prescribed planarity requirements.
These lanes are then treated with the transparent, protective, conductive FLOORCOAT/H resin coating, and has the following characteristics:
- Ground Resistance (RE), according to EN 1081 (ex DIN 51953) - not more than 106 Ohm
- Braking Distance, complying with the 15160-part 1 standard
- Friction Coefficient (approximately μ 0,5)
The result? A 100% VDMA-compliant floor that guarantees maximum efficiency, maximum speed and maximum warehouse safety.
FLOORING FOR AUTOMATIC VEHICLES
SIREC floorings also respond to the technical specifications required by the manufacturers of AGV – LGV – TGV vehicles, in terms of mechanical resistance, flatness, electrical conductivity and surface roughness.
